Building Project History & Archives

This page contains documents spanning the history of the building project. It is meant to help answer questions regarding site selection, building design, and previous capital campaign efforts.

The library building project was on hold as we were coming out of the pandemic (assessing its impact on building costs) and searching for a new director.  We are now actively evaluating and discussing site options in order to move forward. Currently, we are gathering information and communicating with the necessary people within the village to get complete and accurate information in order to determine the best option for the community.  As we move along in this process we will be posting updates to our webpage.  In the meantime, we will seek to serve New Glarus and the surrounding communities to the best of our ability in our current location.  We are hopeful about what the future holds and thank you for your support.  For further information, our board minutes are available under the "More" tab on the homepage http://www.newglaruspubliclibrary.org/library-board

Not finding what you're looking for? The Library Board welcomes your questions. You can reach all the trustees via email (libraryboard [at] ngpl.org) or you may call the library at 527-2003 for the phone numbers of individual trustees.
